There a common joke that some folks call themselves cycling fans because they watch cycling only in the month of July, when the Tour is on. Well with all the websites that are streaming cycling races those days are past. You can check out Steephill.tv for various sources of live race coverage.

Another sign that is Tour is on shows up on all the cycling paths in ever city. Right now you’ll spot quite a few cycling jerseys around town. Besides watching the Tour people love to bust out their bicycles and start riding. It might be related to the nice weather but I think its more related to all that race action. Even better than folks riding around on the latest over priced cycling gear is the old Italian or other Euro guys who take out their super old bikes and squeeze into their old vintage cycling jerseys. These old guys usually are pretty out of shape but they know how to ride a bike.
